Collected here are working drafts of thought. Using a typewriter means that one becomes very conscious of the dynamics of a page – it is almost like a stage. It is not that one sits down to write pre-formed ideas; rather, the space of the page allows for an opening of mind, a process of discovery, a place to release and pursue and meander.
